The Horseheads Central School District sent out a letter to parents Tuesday afternoon regarding a suspicious vehicle that was reported in Erin.
Law enforcement located the owner of the vehicle in question and have spoken to him. They reported that the operator of the vehicle was looking for a specific address and was having difficulty finding it.
The Sheriff’s Department has determined his story was credible and have closed the incident’s case.
Superintendent Thomas Douglas states in the letter “We ask you, as well as students, staff, caregivers, and neighbors to continue to be vigilant and report any activity you feel is suspicious. W are very grateful to those who reported this incident so that it could be investigated.”
