Two 17-year-olds were arrested on Thursday after they used what Ithaca Police described as a “stun gun device” during a robbery near the Cornell campus Thursday night.

Police responded to the scene in the 500 block of Stewart Avenue shortly after the robbery was reported, and found two victims suffering from minor injuries.

They caught up with the suspects – whose identities are being withheld because of their age – a short distance from the scene.

Police charged them with:

– Second-degree robbery, a felony

– First-degree burglary, a felony

They were arraigned and jailed in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

Police anticipate that the suspects will face additional charges.
