Jasper man arrested following domestic violence incident

TROUPSBURG, N.Y. (WETM) – A Jasper man was arrested following a domestic violence incident during which he allegedly choked another person, according to Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard.

Deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Darryl Vaughn, 60, on Sept. 22 after he allegedly choked and harassed another person in Troupsburg.

Vaughn was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, a Class A Misdemeanor and Aggravated Harassment, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Vaughn was arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
