Joyce Mitchell, the former prison tailor who admitted she helped convicted killers Richard Matt and David Sweat escape from the Clinton Correctional Facility in 2015, is up for parole again next week.
Mitchell was sentenced to serve two-and-a-third to seven years behind bars for her role. Mitchell was denied parole in February and August 2017.
No date is set yet for the hearing.
The parole board will have two weeks to make a decision.
Inmates Sweat and Matt escaped the prison and were on the loose for three weeks.
Matt was shot and killed, but Sweat was taken into custody and is currently housed at the Auburn Correctional Facility.
