McDonald’s working with AARP to hire aging employees

Local News

McDonald’s is looking to hire mature workers.

The fast-food giant is teaming up with AARP to hire older workers for breakfast and lunch shifts.

McDonald’s is hoping the partnership will help fill about 250,000 summer positions. They will feature restaurant openings on AARP’s job board.

McDonald’s says young people are an important part of the workforce, but many are in school or don’t want to work an early morning shift.
