A flight scheduled to land at the Elmira Corning Regional Airport has been diverted to another airport to deal with a medical emergency.
Allegiant 2238 from Orlando Sanford was diverted to Greensboro, North Carolina early Monday morning according to Bill Hopper, the airport manager.
It was scheduled to land at the Elmira Corning Regional Airport at 9:54 AM.
Hopper did not say what the medical emergency was. We are in contact with Allegiant for more information.
