The beginning of Sammy story is heart breaking, but now that he’s found Pawz and Purrz things can only get better for him. But unfortunately his story starts like many other homeless and abandoned pets here in the twin tiers.
Even though Sammy the kitten is currently staying at the Rio Vista Veterinary Hospital, he is a Pawz and Purrz rescue (ppar).
Once he’s back to full health and is O.K.’d to leave the hospital by the veterinarians he will be in foster care with Pawz and Purrz.
Also at the hospital and un der the care of Pawz and Purrz was Shrek, a 4 and a half month old kitten looking for a home of his own. Shrek is with Pawz and Purrz, and they say he’s polydactyl, neutered sweet as can be and loves all other animals.
Pawz and Purrz is a foster based rescue, so they do not have a physical shelter location. But they are always in need of donations so if you would like to donate canned or dry kitten food you can swing by Fazzarys Liquor Store at 332 West Pulteney Street in corning at any time or send them an email and make arrangements for them to pick it up.
This fall will make three years for Pawz and Purrz foster rescue, and they plan on continuing to paw right along.
