UPDATE:: In total there were 14 individuals that were arrested during Operation Free Fall. 5 other individuals were arrested and processed by either the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office or the New York State Police.
A 3-month long investigation into the sale of drugs in Steuben County has lead to the arrest of 13 people, according to local authorities.
Those breaking details from a news conference Monday morning in Bath. The effort was between Steuben County law enforcement and District Attorney Brooks Baker’s office.
This investigation is being called Operation Free Fall. They tell 18 News it’s to indicate the hope for a drug-free Fall season.
All 13 have been arrested and most have been arraigned. Some are in jail and some have been released, according to our reporter at the news conference.
Their next investigation is already underway.
