HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WETM) – Over 1,000 customers are without power in Horseheads.
According to NYSEG, the outage is affecting nearly the entire village and town on Monday evening as high winds and heavy rain move through the area.
NYSEG estimates the power will return around 8 p.m.
The village’s Monday board meeting was canceled due to the power outage.
