Pickleball, the newest craze in the Twin Tiers

Local News

Pickleball is becoming one of the fastest growing sports in the nation and now it has made its way to the Twin Tiers.

On Wednesday evening the Pickleball Association of the Twin Tiers (P.A.T.T) held their first night of doubles Pickleball League. There are a total of sixteen teams, comprised of three players per team, in this league.

When the league was first formed the association was unsure of how interested members of the community would be. The response they got was incredible and many members were excited for the league to be in their area!

All ages are participating in the sport, from children in school to residents in their golden age.

Unfortunately, the double pickleball league is full but don’t worry, the association has open play three times a week at various locations.

For a list of these locations and other information on the association head over to their website.
