Police have arrested a wanted Tioga County man after a DWI stop.
New York State Police arrested Cameron Rabie, 22, of Nichols, around 1 a.m. on Sunday.
The arrest occurred after a traffic stop, when police say Rabie was seen driving without a working headlight as he left the Dandy Market on West River Road in the Town of Nichols.
Police say he was found to be driving while intoxicated, with a BAC of .16%.
They say an investigation determined that he had a suspended license and was wanted by the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office for a prior Driving While Ability Impaired charge.
He was charged with the misdemeanor of DWI, and the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree.
Rabie was arraigned in the Town of Nichols Court and was remanded to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 property bond.
