With just weeks until Election Day, a new poll is showing Hillary Clinton and Charles Schumer maintaining large leads over their Republican opponents in New York State.
Siena Research Institute released its latest findings Wednesday morning.
In the race for President, Clinton holds a 24-point lead over Donald Trump, up 3 points from last month.
In a 4-way race, the latest poll shows the following results:
- Hillary Clinton: 54%
- Donald Trump: 30%
- Gary Johnson: 5%
- Jill Stein: 4%
In the race for U.S. Senator, incumbent Democrat Charles Schumer has a huge lead over Republican opponent Wendy Long.
The latest poll shows Schumer at 66% and Long at 27%.
The poll also questioned voters on how they are feeling going into the upcoming election, with a small majority at 52% saying they are pessimistic that the new President and Congress will work together to move the United States forward, compared to 46% who say they are optimistic.
By a 52%-34% margin, voters say that a year from now, most Americans will look back and say we made the right choice for President.
