Hornell Mayor and Hillary Clinton delegate Shawn Hogan says Hillary Clinton did a good job in advancing her cause during her acceptance speech in Philadelphia Thursday night.
Saying it was a historic evening, Hogan says Clinton did a good job outlining her future for America saying that while Republican candidate Trump is saying America is dying, Clinton said the country’s best days are ahead of us.
When asked if her speech will help Clinton gain the votes of more Bernie Sanders supporters in November, Hogan said he was sitting in front of a bunch of Sanders supporters from the 23rd Congressional District and he said, “we all came together”
Hogan believes Clinton will get 90% of the vote from Sanders supporters.
As far as Clinton’s running mate, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, is concerned Hogan said Kaine brings a lot to the table bringing strength to the ticket in the South with his prior record as Governor of Virginia.
