Report: Court setback for Woodstock 50

Local News

There are new developments around the ever-growing legal saga surrounding the Woodstock 50 Festival reportedly set for this coming August at Watkins Glen International.

“Woodstock 50’s attempt to force its former financial backer to back off from interfering with the planned anniversary festival was denied,” according to a report from the Poughkeepsie Journal Wednesday.

The paper is reporting a spokesperson for Dentsu Aegis, “shared with the Journal a state Supreme Court decision made Wednesday.” This comes after an earlier ruling by the court that Dentsu Aegis, the financial backer, did not have the right to cancel the event.
