Nails being drilled, hammers hammering away and wood getting cut were sounds of progress.
Three-year-old Abby Webster lost her legs in a lawnmower accident and is now in a wheelchair.
Volunteers from Home Depot made sure she can truly feel right at home with a new wheelchair ramp.
“It’s a great feeling for us to know that we can go out and maybe have an impact on a little three-year-old and their family,” Dan Archambeault, a human resources manager with Home Depot, said. “I’ll go home tonight and reflect on the day and say, ‘man, this is just great.”
The ramp is projected to be done by tomorrow when Abby and her family return home.
