Steuben County hosts the first ever Finger Lakes Trail Days Festival

Kevin Costello, President of the Steuben County Conference and Visitors Bureau stopped by 18 News today to discuss the first ever Finger Lakes Trail Conference.

The Steuben County Conference and Visitors Bureau is partnering with Finger Lakes Trail Conference and the Chemung river friends to host the first annual Finger Lakes Trail Days Festival. The festival aims to celebrate the beauty of Steuben County and attract more visitors.

There will be a plethora of outdoor activities such zip lining, rock climbing, rope courses, group yoga, mountain biking, and they will even have a chance to learn to kayak. There will also be musical performances from the Grammy award-winning Steep Canyon Rangers and Sawyer Fredericks, the 2015 winner of NBC’s “The Voice”. There will also be plenty of food.

The event is taking place July 26 and 27 at the Steuben County Fairgrounds located in Bath, N.Y. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. General admission tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids age 16 and under. Gates open at 11:00 a.m. on the 27th. A day-pass to the event is $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
