Another Tesla charging station is up and running in Steuben County.

The Painted Post charging site is the second Supercharger site in the Southern Tier. The first was installed in Binghamton.
What differentiates Supercharger stations from regular charging stations is that vehicles can receive 170 miles of range in as little as 30 minutes compared to hours.
It’s located at 125 Victory Highway in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot. The manager told 18 News he sees about one or two vehicles charging there per day and that there are many more on weekends.
We waited around 45 minutes to see if we could speak to someone with a Tesla vehicle and no one showed.
In total, there are about a dozen Tesla destination charging sites in the Twin Tiers and they’re commonly located at hotels and restaurants.
