The 142nd annual Troy Fair kicks off Monday, July 24.
The fair will have a lot of everythinng from food, ride, games – all the traditional things of a fair.
It’s one of the largest event in Bradford County, especially for agriculture. Organizers tell 18 News over 400 dairy animals are expected to show up as well as livestock of pigs, sheeps and goats.
Buyers from all over the place will be taking market animals home with them.
Food, game and ride vendors arrived over the weekend to set up shop and assemble rides.
Troy Fair president Cathy Jenkins tells 18 News: “The event draws thousands of people every year.”
“We normally get 50,000 so for a small town like Troy, 50,000 is a lot of people and we hope to see many more this year,” said Jenkins.
The fair goes on from Monday, July 24 thru Saturday, July 29.
