This week, Scott and Ally discuss a new blanket gaining popularity that looks like a tortilla. The blanket is round and purposely looks just like a tortilla so that when you wrap yourself up in it, you look like a burrito. The burrito blanket can be found on Amazon.
They also talk about a new canned wine that’s getting attention. Cupcake Vineyards is the latest in a handful of companies to release canned wine. It comes in Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc.
There are two events happening this weekend. The Arc Grand Prix Run at Watkins Glen International and Cocktails for the Cure.
The Arc Grand Prix Run is a charity race benefiting the Arc of Schuyler county. It happens annually and all proceeds go to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities residing in and near Schuyler County.
Cocktails for the cure is an event to help raise money for the 21st annual Race for the Cure. It’s an evening of cocktails and fun that also supports Susan G. Komen of the Twin Tiers region. All drink proceeds will support the race. The event will be held Wednesday, April 10 at the Radisson Hotel in Corning from 5 to 7:30 p.m. One drink ticket is $10 or buy 2 drink tickets for $15.
