The CMOG Glass Barge makes its last stop at Watkins Glen

Local News

The CMOG Glass Barge has arrived in Watkins Glen. It will be docked at the Seneca Harbor Pier until Sunday the 16th.

The weekend kicked off with a ceremonial glass ribbon cutting ceremony. Then followed with a live glass blowing demonstration.

This is the barge’s last stop on a journey that’s lasted 4 months through the state of New York. The Glass Barge celebrates the 150th anniversary of the relocation of the Brooklyn Flint glass company from Brooklyn to Corning.

The Barge will be there all weekend long in Watkins Glen. There will be live hot glass demonstrations, fireworks, live music and vendors.

It’s free to attend but seats for the hot glass demos must be reserved in advance online. Click here to reserve your seat
