The Horseheads Elks Lodge hosts seafood boil to raise money for veterans

Hannah Aspenwall and Tavis Delong stop by 18 news today to discuss an upcoming event to raise money for veterans. 

Saturday, June 29, the Horseheads Elks Lodge will be hosting a family friendly seafood boil. The boil includes clams, mussels, shrimp, crab legs and more. Non-seafood options will also be available.

Tickets are $25 each. $5 of each ticket sale will go toward purchasing welcome home kits for veterans. The Overrated will be performing that evening starting at 5 p.m. The ticket price includes one dinner and admission to see the live entertainment. 

To participate in the seafood boil, attendees must purchase a pre-sale ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the Horseheads Elks Club Lounge located at 6 Prospect Hill Rd, Horseheads.

There will also be a cornhole tournament starting at 1 p.m. Tournament entry is $10 per person. All proceeds will go to veterans as well.
