CORNING, N.Y. (WETM) – New York State Police arrested three people after uncovering heroin, meth, and drug paraphernalia inside a vehicle in Corning.
State Police pulled over a speeding vehicle on I-86 on Tuesday, Sept. 24 while on patrol. Police say the driver, 36-year-old Brock Stillman of Sayre, “was sweating profusely” and the occupants gave conflicting stories on where they were coming from and going.
According to Police, Stillman said there were heroin needles in the car door. Stillman failed to complete sobriety testing and was charged with driving while impaired by drugs.
K- 9 “Theo” arrived on the scene to assist when the driver declined to let State Police search the car. K-9 “Theo” entered the car and located contraband in the back seat, trunk and two egg sandwiches with drugs near them.
All of the occupants, Joshua Bowman, 37, Casey Stillman, 26, and Brock Stillman were taken to the station in Painted Post and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
