Twin Tiers Mini Maker Faire is taking place Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at SUNY Corning Community College in Corning.
There is no fee to apply for a regular booth (there is a vendor fee for those wishing to sell hand-crafted merchandise at the event). All applications will be reviewed by a panel of jurors, as space is limited, and accepted Makers will be notified. Makers are encouraged to apply early to get prime booth locations as well as access to electrical outlets.
Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who are skilled in making, enjoy learning and who love sharing what they do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for makers to showcase hobbies, experiments, and crafts.
Twin Tiers Mini Maker Faire is made possible by the following partners and sponsors: Chemung County Library District, SUNY Corning Community College, Southeast Steuben County Library, Southern Tier Library System, Chemung Canal Trust Company, Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc., Corning Museum of Glass, and Make Magazine. This project is made possible, in part, with public funds from NYSCA’s Decentralization Program, administered regionally by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
