Two Arrested for Allegedly Manufacturing Meth

A Van Etten pair has been arrested for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine.

The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division arrested Ashley Tompkins, 28, and Robert Tompkins, 37, for unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a Class D felony.

Both were arraigned in the Village of Van Etten Court and released on their own recognizance.

The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office Clandestine Lab team collected evidence at the scene. The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Chemung County Child Protective Services.
