Two Elmira men are behind bars, charged with possessing around 13 grams of cocaine.
Members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), Troop”E” Uniform Force and Special Operations Response Team (SORT) conducted a narcotic investigation on Caton Avenue in the Town of Southport.
As a result of the investigation, investigators seized approximately 13 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, $3,771 in US currency and a 2005 Mercedes Benz.
31-year-old Kenneth Fisher and 26-year-old Christopher Allen were both arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a class B felony, and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the second degree, a misdemeanor.
Fisher was arraigned in the Town of Southport Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail without bail.
Allen was also arraigned in the Town of Southport Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
