Two Men Rescued From Conhocton River

Two men are rescued from the Conhocton River in Coopers Plains Saturday evening.

It happened around dusk, according to the 18 News media partner, The Leader.

The two men tried to cross the river in an off-road vehicle and became stranded.

They stood on top of the vehicle until fire fighters from Coopers Plains and South Corning were able to reach them in a hovercraft.

New York State Police also responded to the scene.
