Update: Wyalusing triple murder & suicide, GoFundMe set up for family

Local News

A GoFundMe page has been set up for two of the victims in a tragic triple murder-suicide that took place Friday.

The $40,000 goal on the page will help with Edwin and Candy Bidlack’s funeral arrangements.

The funeral service will be held on June 20 at 10 a.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home.

The 31-year-old gunman, Jesse Northrup, was a veteran who suffered from PTSD and other mental health issues when he shot and killed three people before committing suicide, according to Bradford County Coroner Tom Carman.

He was fired from his job at Cargill Meat Solutions in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania on June 13, just one day prior to the shootings.

18 News received this statement from the company on Tuesday:

Cargill is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life in our community.  We are working with local law enforcement as they investigate the incident that involved a former employee. Our sympathy is with the families who are mourning their loved ones. We will have professional grief counselors on site at our Wyalusing facility who will be available to our team as needed. The safety and well-being of our colleagues is our top priority.
