A local community singing group, Common Time, is holding a free music concert at the Clemens Center on Saturday, March 30.
The group performs 3 free concerts a year, which features music from motion pictures. The event is free and open to the public.
“We decided to make the event free at the onset of the group,“ Paul Holland, the Director of Common Time said. “It’s for the people so anybody and everybody can come and take advantage of this beautiful thearter.“
They have been putting on performances since 1985. Anyone who can sing is allowed to join the group. The group said they look forward to a big crowd and a good performance. The group also takes their show out to the community for those unable to attend. They visit places like Woodbrook, Chemung County Nursing Facility and Bethany.
