Man arrested for Felony DWI, Fleeing a Police Officer in Bath

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brian L. Vosburgh, 38, of East Smithfield, Pennsylvania for felony DWI in Bath, New York.

Deputies allegedly encountered Vosburgh after he allegedly swerved his vehicle at the Deputy’s patrol car in Bath. Vosburgh allegedly failed to comply with deputies and accelerated in excess of the posted speed limit before stopping in a driveway.

Vosburgh was charged with Driving While Intoxicated as a Felony, Unlawful Fleeing of a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree, Fail to use Interlock Device, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree, Fail to Maintain Lane, Speeding, Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle and Fail to Signal a Turn.

Vosburgh was arraigned in the Bath Village Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. Additional charges are forthcoming.
