Money Matters: Gas prices continue to rise across the United States

The average price of gasoline across the United States has risen 6 cents a gallon in the last two weeks according to the Lundberg Survey.

The highest average price in the nation is as high as $3.29 a gallon in the San Francisco Bay area and the lowest average is in St. Louis, Missouri where gas is as low as $2.13 a gallon.

According to statistics and multiple research studies, gas prices across the country are likely to continue to increase.

Industry Analysts say it would take a notable and sustained drop in oil prices to cause gasoline prices to drop at this point.
