Fairgoers can look forward to a number of new things at the Great New York State Fair this year.

Some highlights include a new turtle mound at the Indian Village, a taller tower at the New York State Police exhibit, and a 24-hour live stream inside the Dairy Cow Birthing Center.

The live stream can be found at the New York State Animal Agriculture Coalition YouTube channel.

You can also sign up for birth center text alerts by texting “moo” to 24587.

There’s also a new Broadway Skyliner that families can use as a shortcut across the grounds.

The lift is not included in the price of ride wristbands and costs $5 one way or $8 roundtrip.

There is an I Love New York Tourism Experience debuting in the Center of Progress building.

Don’t forget new treats like the Milky Bun inside the Dairy building.

The Milky Bun is ice cream and toppings sandwiched between a donut that can be served glazed.

You can also try a Maple Bacon Milkshake at Recess Coffee — debuting at the Fairgrounds for the first time across from the main gate.
