One Woman Killed, Two Minors Injured in Rome Township Crash


(Update 7:19 p.m.) Pennsylvania State Police at Towanda have identified the woman killed in Tuesday afternoon’s crash in Rome Township. She has been identified as Julie Neville, of Little Meadows, Pa.

Police say Neville pulled onto Route 187 from Route 467, and into the path of the logging truck. Police say she died at the scene.

Two children ages 7 and 11, both of Little Meadows, were in the vehicle Neville was driving. Both were injured, according to police.

Police have identified the driver of the logging truck as 28-year-old Steven Brunner of Endicott, N.Y., Brunner did not suffer any injuries.


(UPDATE 6:00 p.m.) Bradford County Coroner Tom Carmen confirms to 18 News a 37-year-old woman died in Tuesday afternoon’s two-car crash in Rome Township.

According to Carmen, the woman was driving the vehicle which turned into the path of a logging truck at the intersection of Route 187 and Route 467.

Carmen also confirms two minors were injured that accident, which resulted in the intersection being shut down.

The intersection of Route 187 and Route 467 in Rome Township has reopened following an accident involving at least two vehicles, according to the Bradford County Firewire.
