MONROE TOWNSHIP, BRADFORD COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — One man has died and another is suspected to have serious injuries after an ATV and vehicle crashed in Bradford County Thursday, according to a release from state police.

Police say 73-year-old Vincent Sabonis was driving a ATV and entered the northbound lane of SR 220 in front of another vehicle, ultimately causing the vehicle to hit the ATV, the release says.

According to the crash report, the ATV sustained heavy damage and the second vehicle lost control and overturned. Police say the driver was trapped in the vehicle and was taken to the hospital.

The Bradford County Coroner’s Office pronounced Sabonis dead on the scene.

PennDOT says the road was closed in both directions between Route 414 in Monroe Township and Route 2010 in New Albany.
