A family of four from New Jersey is safe after a flight Friday lands them in a lake.

Law enforcement say the Cessna c-172 plane ran off the end of the Aeroflex-Andover airport runway after the pilot did not correctly estimate its length.

The flight was coming from Pennsylvania and headed to Morristown, New Jersey when it was diverted to this airport because of president trump’s arrival to his golf club.

The family. which included two children managed to escape safely and a nearby fisherman rescued them from the water.

The completely submerged plane was later pulled from the lake.

This is the second crash in more than a year to take place at this airport.
