Chick-fil-A Coming to Upstate NY

Regional News

Chick-fil-A is coming to Central New York.

The popular chicken chain hopes to begin construction in Cicero in April.

Cicero Town Supervisor Mark Venesky says the fast food restaurant will be located in front of the Home Depot on Route 11.

He says plans for the new eatery will be presented at a planning board meeting on Monday.

Reports that Chick-fil-A was targeting the Syracuse and other Upstate New York markets began emerging in December.

Chick-fil-A has 2,000 locations in 46 states – but only a few in the New York City area.

The Town of Greece in suburban Rochester recently approved plans for a Chick-fil-A location.
