Attempted murder charges were filed on Saturday — against the man accused of shooting six Philadelphia police officers during an hours-long standoff on Wednesday.
Other charges against 36-year-old Maurice Hill include multiple counts of aggravated assault and assault of a law enforcement officer.
He also faces counts of assault of a law enforcement officer, reckless endangerment, gun possession and drug conspiracy.
The filing comes three days after hill allegedly barricaded himself in a row house when police tried to serve a narcotics warrant.
Police also managed to rescue multiple women that were in the home in the midst of the stand off.
Hill was denied bail during a preliminary arraignment.
He’s due back in court on September 5th.
