A Hornell woman is facing grand larceny and forgery charges.

Hornell Police officers said 37-year-old Jennifer Mix was arrested and charged with one count each of Grand Larceny and Forgery. Officers said the arrest stemmed from an audit at a local financial institution where Mix was formerly employed.

Officers said Mix forged a personal loan application for an unapproved amount. Mix was arraigned in Hornell City Court and is now in the pre-trial release program.

Officials said that the investigation is continuing under the review of the Steuben County District Attorney’s office.

Mix will appear in court again on April 6th.
