Name of woman killed in ultralight aircraft crash released

HANNIBAL, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — State Police have released the name of the woman who was killed when her ultralight aircraft crashed in Hannibal on Sunday night.

Jeanette Reyner, 74, was flying her ultralight aircraft when witnesses heard the engine cut out as Reyner was approaching the runway.

State Police say an ultralight plane crashed just after 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of Sixty Six Road and Martville Road.

The FAA is now investigating what caused the crash.
