Construction to transform Schuyler Hospital is underway.
The Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program will fund $10.3 million to modernize technology and facilities within Schuyler Hospital.
The upgrades will include a new Inpatient Medical and Surgical Unit along with a modernized Primary Care Clinic with modernized technology.
“We’re really excited to invest in our community and the health needs of our community, as time has changed, we find it necessary to do that, to bring the most modern technology and facilities to our community,“ Matthew Rouff, Executive Director for outpatient and support services, said.
Crews already started moving ground to add 65 new parking spots to the existing lot. The new parking lot is looking to be complete in the next couple of months.
The groundbreaking on the new building is set to begin in the spring of 2019 with the final product slated to be complete and operational by the summer of 2020.
