Ashley Cramer, 33, was indicted for tampering with physical evidence after police discovered a meth lab at 712 West Broad Street, back in November.

Officers from the Horseheads Police, Elmira Heights Police, and Chemung County Sheriff’s Office initially responded to a physical disturbance in apartment 1. When officers arrived, there was evidence that led police to believe methamphetamine was being made there.

Mathew T. Menio, 37, was charged with Unlawful manufacturing of Methamphetamine in the 3rd degree.

According to the indictment, police believe Cramer removed evidence from Menio’s apartment and hid it in shrubs outside the building prior to the police arriving.
