The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Southport man in possession of several illegal substances early in the morning on Wednesday, March 7.
Timothy Bailey, 39, was arrested after a traffic stop on State Route 328 after the Sheriff’s Office discovered a warrant out for Bailey’s arrest.
Bailey was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, and prescription medications that he had not been prescribed.
Bailey was charged as a Fugitive from Justice, and with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a Class C Felony.
Bailey was arraigned in the Town of Southport Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail with bail set at $20,000 cash / $40,000 property.
