Researchers found women who sleep with their pets have less disturbed sleep and greater feelings of security and comfort.
Researchers didn’t find any benefits to sleeping with cats, however, and women reported disturbed sleep as much as if they were sharing a bed with a human partner.
Dog owners also tend to go to sleep and wake up earlier than cat owners.
