Target plans to hire 120,000 holiday workers this year

Target announced they are already preparing for the holidays as it looks to expand its seasonal workforce by hiring 120,000 holiday workers this year.

The company said a majority of available positions will be dedicated to fulfilling online orders at distribution centers. Positions in stores will primarily focus on restocking shelves and helping customers locate items.

The move follows a 40% increase in online sales during the second quarter of this year.

For those interested, the company will hold a hiring event at its stores nationwide from October 12-October 14th.
