MILLPORT, N.Y ( WETM – TV ) – After three decades, the popular antique tractor and engine show bid its final sendoff.

It was an emotional last day for owner Barbara Johnson of the renowned Johnson’s Farm in Millport.

She and many others began cleaning up the scene of what was a busy weekend of festivities. Johnson who lost her husband in 2015, says bidding farewell to the market is bittersweet, but it was time well spent.

“Very hard to give it up,” said Johnson. “We’ve had a lot of people wanted it to keep it going but with family health reasons and this and that. But Frank wanted to do it for thirty years. And to me, this was Frank’s show,” added Johnson.

Johnson said she is pleased for the community outreach and support. She’s thankful for all the years of strong family tradition and providing smiles to all those who stop by.
