Fireworks return this weekend before July 4th

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) The annual fireworks show at Eldridge Park returns on Saturday, June 29 for another year.

The fireworks show, now in its eleventh year, brings live music all evening starting at 3:00 p.m., leading to the fireworks which are scheduled to go off around 9:15 p.m.

There will also be inflatable’s and games for the children.

There is limited parking at the park, and C-Tran will provide free shuttle service from Wegmans on Clemens Center Parkway to the park.

In Steuben County, the Woodhull Raceway is putting on its Jim Williams Memorial Fireworks also on saturday night.

The track will have a series of races earlier in the evening. Tickets are $13 for the entire show. Senior Citizens ages 65+ and children 8-12 are$7 and children under 8 are free.

The gates open at 4:30 p.m. and fireworks will be set off once there is enough darkness.
