Mansfield Veterans Park holds 9/11 remembrance ceremony

MANSFIELD, Pa. (WETM) –  People gathered at the Mansfield Veterans Park in for remembrance for the lives lost in the terrorist attacks on September 11.

“Well it’s an important part of our American history and it’s a sad part and it’s something that we need to remember and salute all of the people who, who died and all of the people who responded who has also sub sequentially died,” said American Legion Post Commander Bruce Dart.

The Mansfield High School Marching Band performed patriotic songs for the crowd.
