ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – Profiles of Lyme is returning to Community Arts of Elmira for a second year.
Individuals with Lyme disease will tell their stories through original poetry, prose, and music.
It’s a night to reflect, bring awareness, and share empowerment for people living with Lyme disease in our community.
Some of the founders of this event said it’ crucial to educate the community.
“It’s emotional but that’s a good thing, said Matt Guagliardo. “It speaks to our heart and it really connects with us in a deep way. It unites us all,” continued Guagliardo.
We want to create an environment for people directly and indirectly impacted by Lyme,” said Collin McLaughlin.
Profiles of Lyme is taking place Saturday, October 26 from 7 through 9 p.m.
