STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. (WETM) – A Steuben County man has been arrested after a welfare fraud investigation.
Leonard Youngs, 60, of Bath has been charged with four counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office alleges Youngs presented four false documents to the Steuben County Department of Social Services in July 2019.
Youngs was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Village of Bath Court at a later date.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Steuben County Department of Social Services Fraud and Legal Affairs Unit, and the District Attorney’s Office.
