CORNING, N.Y. (WETM – TV) – 91 apartments will soon be available for lease in the city of Corning.
Now that the 176 Denison apartments are back on the tax rolls, this new property will also help with the possible housing shortage in the city.
Mayor Bill Boland said this is a great opportunity to develop a site that would other wise be vacant.
“Our housing study that we completed a number of years ago, and the housing strategy that the city council passed, calls for this kind of housing both the serve the millennial population and seniors that are looking for greater convince,” said Corning Mayor William Boland.
Phase 1 of the project will be completed and ready to lease by Spring of 2020, with more apartments to follow.
