ELMIRA, N.Y . (WETM – TV) – The Lawrenceville fire that occurred this past Saturday in the Northern Tier county of Tioga County has left the community to come up with a plan to get the rebuilding into gear. As of yet nothing has come to surface as to how the fire started. Although the fire department didn’t want a “Go Fund Me” account. A local woman has taken it upon herself to allow the community to give back while still getting back.

Cassie Hugic started to sell t-shirts for $20, click here. The all black shirts feature the saying “STATION 8 STRONG”. Along with an all-white flag and a red axe. So far, Hugic has managed raised nearly $7,000 in sales through the site. All proceeds from the T-shirts will go to rebuilding a new firehouse. Along with a lot more fundraisers for the department in the future such as a Chicken barbeque and a Motorcycle Run.
